Twenty years after the Red Sox’ historic World Series win, Netflix has dropped the trailer for upcoming docuseries “The Comeback: 2004 Boston Red Sox,” which will recount the team’s journey to break their 86-year championship drought.
“No team had ever come back from being down 3 games. Until the Red Sox did,” Netflix posted on X on Wednesday, along with the trailer.
Set for release on Oct. 23, the series’ three episodes will take a deep dive into the team’s 3-0 series deficit, rivalry with the Yankees, and eventual win against the Cardinals that brought an end to the “Curse of the Bambino.
