Triston Casas has a plan for fending off the sophomore slump.
Just last year the Red Sox’ 2018 first-round draft pick was coming up to the majors for the first time. Now, as he embarks on his second full season, he’s setting his sights on some lofty goals.
“Well, my goal this year is to play every game, make the playoffs, and have a .300/.400/.500 slash line,” Casas said per The Boston Globe’s Julian McWilliams. “Those three things right there jump off the page.”
