The Red Sox were able to snap a nine game losing streaking as they took the second game against Phillies in a series split to start the week. In the first contest, the Red Sox actually got a decent (relative to this staff) outing from Zack Godley, who went four innings and only allowed one run. As soon as he left the game, however, everything went south. The next five relief pitchers for the Red Sox all allowed runs, headlined by a seven-run sixth inning where Josh Taylor allowed three runs and the Heath Hembree allowed four without recording an out.
