The Red Sox settled for a series split with the Orioles on the backs of some good pitching performances early, which was certainly a refreshing change. To start off, Nathan Eovaldi had possibly his best start of the season in the first game, going seven innings with six strikeouts, one earned run and one walk. Xander Bogaerts continued his hot streak with a couple hits and a dinger, and Mitch Moreland followed suit with a couple hits and a dinger himself. On Friday, Colton Brewer made it through four scoreless innings for his best outing of the season, and Bogaerts hit another home run.
