The Red Sox Pre-Cap Podcast: Recapping the Marlins, Previewing the Yankees

In rarity for the Red Sox, they won a series, taking two out of three from the Marlins. Tuesday’s game featured the debut of Tanner Houck, who did not disappoint in five innings, allowing no runs with no walks and seven strikeouts. The Sox took that one 2-0, which was another rarity, as it was only the second shutout of the season. The first came early in the season against Tampa Bay. Wednesday night’s contest was not a rarity, with Mike Kickham getting rocked for six runs in 2 23 innings, digging a hole the bats couldn’t do anything to overcome.
