The Red Sox lost on Sunday night, but that was far from the most eventful thing to happen in the wee hours of the morning. Immediately after the loss to the Yankees, it was announced that the team had “parted ways” with Dave Dombrowski.
I mean.....wow. I really am at a loss for words right now. There had been whispers of this possibly happening for a few months now, but at the very earliest I figured it would happen at the end of the season. That they are firing — and let’s call it what it is — Dombrowski at this point in the year is major.
