The $ox’ dozen done

The Red Sox this offseason had 13 arbitration-eligible players, tied with the Arizona Diamondbacks for the most of any organization. They came to relatively quick agreements with three players who were injured most of last season — relatively straightforward cases — and settled with nine more just before the deadline to exchange figures. Mookie Betts was the only arbitration-eligible player left without a contract.

Here’s a look at the 12 Red Sox who successfully avoided arbitration this winter:

DREW POMERANZ

(Third-year eligible)

• Salary: $8.5 million

• Last year: $4.45 million

XANDER BOGAERTS

(Second-year eligible)

• Salary: $7.
