COLUMBIA, S.C. — Tim Tebow drove in his first runs in nearly a month with two RBIs in the Columbia Fireflies' road-win against the Delmarva (Maryland) Shorebirds.
The former NFL quarterback has 11 RBIs on the season with the New York Mets Single A affiliate, but also has struck out 31 times. Weather wreaked havoc during the Fireflies road trip this week with games cancelled or postponed at Delmarva and at the Lakewood (New Jersey) BlueClaws.
Still, Columbia went 4-0 this with Tebow playing in three of the contests.
