Star Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper has been made available to opposing teams ahead of Tuesday's 4 p.m. ET non-waiver Trade Deadline, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand on Monday night.
The Indians and Nationals have communicated recently regarding a possible Harper trade, sources told MLB.com's Jon Paul Morosi earlier Monday, but the discussions hadn't gathered much momentum.
The Braves acquired left fielder Adam Duvall from the Reds on Monday in a trade involving right-handers Lucas Sims and Matt Wisler and outfielder Preston Tucker.
The 29-year-old Duvall -- a National League All-Star in 2016 - is under team control through 2021 and is not arbitration eligible until the winter of '19, and so he represents a controllable asset for a Braves team fighting for the NL East title.
