The Red Sox would need a win if they wanted to take the series against the Blue Jays. The Sox had Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound vs. Marco Estrada for the Jays. Rodriguez did not look sharp and on the other side, Estrada brought a no hit bid into the 8th inning. Chris Young broke up the no hitter with a solo home run to the Monster and then the Sox bats made a rally in the 9th, but came up just short.
ERod started the game off with a bang when he gave up a solo home run to Bautista.
