The Red Sox came into the day game on Sunday with the hope of taking the game and the series. The Sox had rookie Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound vs. Lance McCullers for the Astros. The Sox went out early, but then the Astros battled back to take the lead. The game came down to a 2 run homerun from Hanley Ramirez for the go ahead run. The back end of the Sox bullpen was able to hold the lead and get the win.
The Sox got the early lead in the 2nd inning when Hanigan hit an RBI single to score Sandoval from 2nd base.
