The Sox offense has beaten up on the A’s for the past two games and the Fenway crowd hoped to see it happened once again in the series finale. The Sox had Rick Porcello on the mound vs. Eric Surkamp for the A’s. Porcello pitched well again and the Sox offense scored 10+ runs for the 3rd straight game.
The Sox offense didn’t score in the 1st inning and it was disappointing since we’ve grown to expect it. The A’s were actually the first ones to crack the scoreboard when Porcello gave up an RBI double to Alonso in the 2nd.
