BOSTON -- Four years ago, when John Farrell was introduced as manager of the Boston Red Sox, he used one word to explain the style of offense that he planned to instill in his team: Relentless.
At last, Farrell has a group of players who match that description.
For as much as the Red Sox bang doubles off the Green Monster and test the outer limits of ballparks with their home-run power, they also run the bases with as much daring as any team in baseball. And their aggressiveness was on full display Saturday in a series-evening, 6-4 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays at Fenway Park.
