Roger Clemens is firmly on the outside looking in on the Baseball Hall of Fame.
But if the day ever comes where Clemens is voted in, he reiterated this morning that he wants to wear a Red Sox cap on his plague in Cooperstown.
“It would obviously be a Boston hat,” ‘The Rocket said in an appearance on 98.5 The Sports Hub radio. “That’s where I got my start and my nickname. It’s where I grew up.”
Clemens, with 354 wins and 4,672 strikeouts (third all-time), would likely be a slam-dunk Hall of Famer but for the allegations that he used steroids during his playing career.
