DENVER — The Colorado Rockies have recalled outfielder Kyle Parker from Triple-A Albuquerque and optioned right-hander Eddie Butler to the Isotopes.
Parker is available for Tuesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. He hit .192 in 18 games with the Rockies in 2014, his first taste of the major leagues. He was hitting .275 with seven home runs and 33 RBIs for the Isotopes before being recalled.
Butler made Colorado's Opening Day roster and had a strong start for the Rockies before struggling. He was 2-1 with a 3.27 ERA in April but allowed 15 earned runs in 27 innings in May.
