Earlier this morning we learned that Kutter Crawford would make the Opening Day roster, giving the Red Sox another arm who can provide multiple innings out of the bullpen on expanded roster to begin the season. Now, we have some information about what the bench should look like. Chris Cotillo reported Monday morning that minor-league signing Rob Refsnyder will make the Opening Day roster as well.
Refsnyder originally came up through the Yankees system as an infielder, but in recent years has been more of a corner outfielder and will provide some right-handed depth at that position this year.
