BOSTON -- NESN announced that color analyst Jerry Remy will be back for a 29th season after signing a new agreement that will have him work at least 100 Red Sox games per season.
The news of Remy's return will be comforting for many viewers after the departure of play-by-play man Don Orsillo, who will call games for the San Diego Padres beginning in 2016.
"NESN and the Red Sox have been very good to me over the years, and I hope to continue for a long period of time what I consider to be the best job in the world of broadcasting," Remy said.
