I was streaming a show last month and a commercial came on that made me snap to attention. The advertised product was an at-home die-cutter that enables various DIY projects. Some of the items you can make include decals to put on happy hour glasses, stuff for the kids’ rooms, and…wait a minute…a shirt that says “Astro’s Dad”!
What a flashback that was; Astro isn’t even with us anymore (rest in peace). Tell me a Red Sox fan doesn’t work in that marketing department—and that they haven’t been sitting on this idea for how many years?
