CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Reds have recalled outfielder Kyle Waldrop from Triple-A Louisville before Sunday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Waldrop replaces outfielder Scott Schebler, who was optioned to Louisville following Saturday night's 13-7, 10-inning loss to the Brewers.
Waldrop hit .228 with four home runs and 11 RBIs over 26 games with the Bats, including a team-leading 22 starts in right field.
Schebler, acquired from the Los Angeles Dodgers as part of the off-season three-team deal that sent third baseman Todd Frazier from the Reds to the Chicago White Sox, made Cincinnati's opening day roster and hit .
