BOSTON -- Two Triple-A starts, one of which was shortened by rain, were apparently enough to convince the Boston Red Sox that Eduardo Rodriguez's problems are solved.
Rodriguez, demoted two weeks ago to iron out issues with his mechanics, will be recalled to start the first game after the All-Star break next Friday night at Yankee Stadium, Red Sox manager John Farrell said Sunday.
"There's been some adjustments made to his hand position," Farrell said. "I think he's, by all reports and watching video of him, it feels like and looks like he's gained some comfort with the hand position that has been widely talked about.
