Red Sox welcome back Mookie Betts, move Jackie Bradley Jr. to left field

MIAMI -- He showed off his range and reminded us of his capabilities with his glove, but Jackie Bradley Jr. appears out as the Red Sox’ center fielder.

It was a temporary gig after all.

After sitting out for almost two weeks with a concussion suffered while nearly making a spectacular play at the center-field wall but instead tumbling over it and landing on his neck, Mookie Betts returned to the Sox while playing center field and hitting leadoff on Tuesday against the Marlins.

It took about four days for the 22-year-old to be able to sleep normally after getting hurt on July 28.
