The Red Sox and Marlins return to the site of last night’s aquatic adventure for a Saturday afternoon baseball game (4:10 p.m., NESN) that will try to dodge yet more raindrops.
But the rain isn’t the scariest part of the day. That would be Trevor Rogers, Miami’s ace, who’s 6-2 with an incredible 1.75 ERA. He’ll face off against Nathan Eovaldi, who is doing Nathan Eovaldi things, generally, and now he’ll get to do them against one of his old teams. Provided, you know, the rain holds up. Or even if it doesn’t, as we’ve seen consecutive Sox games get soaked through and continue until it didn’t seem humanly possible to continue.
