TORONTO -- The Red Sox turned pink for their series finale on Sunday afternoon in Toronto as teams around Major League Baseball recognized Mother's Day.
Boston players will wear pink caps against the Blue Jays, with many using pink bats and accessories. Some, including David Price and Mookie Betts, will stand out with their custom bright pink cleats.
Catchers Sandy Leon and Christian Vazquez will stand out behind the plate, too, with pink catching gear from head to toe. This is all part of MLB's effort to fight cancer.
