BOSTON -- Knuckles were white, nails were short and tensions were high.
But by the end of the night, the Red Sox did what they desperately needed to do in Sunday's Game 2 of the American League Championship Series, gritting their way to a 7-5 victory that sends the series back to Houston in a 1-1 tie.
The bullpen came up big for manager Alex Cora, recording the final 13 outs in relief of David Price. Rick Porcello made his second relief appearance of this postseason, working a perfect eighth, and Craig Kimbrel closed it out in the ninth.
