Red Sox starter Brayan Bello opens up about ‘frustrating’ outing vs. White Sox

Brayan Bello has a promising career ahead of him, and carved out a spot in the top of the Red Sox rotation as just 25 years old. On Saturday, though, he had a game to forget.

Starting against the then-16-48 White Sox, Bello gave up nine hits in under five innings of work. He fought through a rough fifth inning in which he loaded the bases, and tried to get out of the bind, but let up a grand slam instead.

After that hit, Bello slammed his glove on the mound, letting out some frustration at the way his start ended.
