Kristian Campbell is proving his swift ascension through the Red Sox farm system was no fluke.
Exactly one year ago, Campbell was playing baseball in South Carolina with the Greenville Drive. He moved from High-A to Double-A Portland in short order and was elevated to Triple-A Worcester by the end of 2024.
Even with limited experience, Campbell competed for a major league spot, and earned the Red Sox’ second base job. On Saturday night, in the third MLB game of his career, Campbell launched his first career home run. A no-doubter.

The home run was part of a pretty newsworthy night for Campbell.
