ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Nicholas Ramzi used to have a really cool story about meeting Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia. Now he has an even better story about meeting Dustin Pedroia.
The old story? Ramzi, a native of Cumberland. R.I., landed himself a Fenway Park concessions job during the last three years he attended Bishop Feehan High School. The highlight of his Fenway employment was the day he was assigned to deliver a tray of food to the Red Sox clubhouse, whereupon he handed hot dogs to Pedroia and slugger David Ortiz.
Yesterday, when Midshipman Nicholas Ramzi was selected to help take the Red Sox on a tour of the campus before the Naval Academy Baseball Classic exhibition showdown against the Washington Nationals at Max Bishop Stadium, which ended in a 4-4 tie.
