The rotation of people to sit next to Dave O’Brien in the NESN broadcast booth has come back full circle.
Jerry Remy was the surprise color analyst for the Red Sox’ series opener against the Tampa Bay Rays last night at Fenway.
Remy, the primary color man who was celebrated on the field last month for 30 years in the booth, has been battling lung cancer. He’s been out of action while going through chemotherapy.
“I’m feeling pretty good,” Remy told WBZ Radio’s Jonny Miller yesterday. “So I talked to NESN and we’re going to try do as many home games the rest of the way as I possibly can.
