Alex Cora continues to downplay the severity of the injury, saying that the medical team thinks O’Neill is “going to be ok,” but MRIs don’t usually portend good things. Unfortunately, injuries are just part of the Tyler O’Neill experience, which is why the Red Sox were able to trade for him in the first place. But, thankfully, the team is well positioned to deal with his absence for a bit, thanks to the emergence of Wilyer Abreu.
