Rafael Devers is not going to play again in 2024, of course, as his bizarre, season-long shoulder injury (which is now two shoulder injuries!) has finally put him on the shelf. But there is good news: MRIs were conducted on both shoulders over the weekend, revealing nothing more damaging than inflammation, so Raffy will not need offseason surgery on either shoulder.
