If you had told me at the end of last season that Kristian Campbell would begin 2025 on the Red Sox roster. . . I would have believed you. He just put up a historically great minor league season, looked too good for AAA during his brief stint in Worcester, and had a much clearer path to the big leagues than his friends Roman Anthony and Marcelo Mayer, owing to the gaping pit of suck that has been second base at Fenway in recent years.
