Well, the good news is this game is that Thornburg had another successful rehab outing. He did allow a hit, but it was only a single. Other than that, he was hitting the zone with 11 strikes in his 16 pitches and it’s his second straight positive outing. He’s probably going to need a couple more before getting to the majors, but he’s trending in the right direction. Stankiewicz was up in Triple-A after Justin Haley got the call to the majors, and well, it didn’t go so well.
