The rehabs for Devers and Vazquez aren’t going particularly well, though it’s not always wise to use rehab performances as indicators of how a player will perform back in the majors. That being said, Eduardo Núñez is playing well at third base and Blake Swihart just keeps chugging along, so it’s safe to think about the possibility of both of these players to have a reduced role upon their return, at least relative to their role before their respective injuries.
