We talked a bit yesterday about the infield depth and the lack of options. Mike Miller was mentioned among that group, and not flatteringly. I still don’t believe anyone would be excited for him to come up in some emergency scenario, and he does still have a .655 OPS in Pawtucket. That said, he does have a nine-game hit streak with multiple hits in five of his last seven. His batting average has climbed 44 points since July 7 and his OPS has climbed 73 points in that time.
