Ivan De Jesus, SS: 2-6, 1 R
Renda is not a big name and probably not much of a help to the big-league team. He has, however, been dynamite since his recent promotion to Pawtucket. It’s only six games so obviously we can’t take much from these numbers, but still he’s hitting .481/.500/704. That deserves a shoutout. In more relevant news, Sam Travis has looked better this month.
Josh Ockimey, DH: 0-2, 1 BB, 1 R
Tate Matheny, CF: 2-3
Jordan Betts, 1B: 2-3, 1 2B, 1 RBI
Dedgar Jimenez: 7 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 5 K (99 pitches)
Josh Ockimey, 1B 0-3, 1 K
Jordan Betts, 3B: 2-3, 1 K
Luke Tendler, RF/LF: 1-2, 1 BB, 1 K
Daniel McGrath: 3 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K (50 pitches)
Not a whole lot of action for this doubleheader between Portland and Binghamton, but we did get to see the best outing of Jimenez’ career and his first professional complete game shutout.
