It was a hell of a pitching matchup for the PawSox on Thursday with Cuevas taking on former Red Sox prospect Michael Kopech. Cuevas has been good all year in Pawtucket, and with the injuries piling up in the major-league rotation Cuevas could theoretically serve as some key depth in the second half. Also, this was Castillo’s first game in 11 days.
