We’ll have more on Wren today, but the son of Red Sox executive Frank Wren made his organizational debut on Wednesday. As for Beeks, the swing and miss was there but the lefty still wasn’t as dominant as he was for much of the first half, allowing two homers and a double in this game. At the same time, if this is a bad run for Beeks that’s a good sign. Brasier isn’t someone we’ve talked about at all this year but he’s been very impressive out of Pawtucket’s bullpen this year.
