Red Sox manager Alex Cora spent his Saturday morning a bit differently than he normally would during the season.
Ahead of the team’s game against the Angels, Cora participated in the Boston Athletic Association’s 2024 Boston 5K.
The 48-year-old raced alongside Red Sox hitting coaches Joe Cronin and Pete Fatse.
“It’s a great experience,” Cora told WCVB’s Matt Reed after the race. “We started running in Spring Training at Fort Myers. … Just to be around, man, this city means so much for us. Sometimes we take it for granted, you know.
