Halloween isn’t only for children. Plenty of adults get decked out in elaborate costumes for parties, office functions or charity events. Not many spend the day cruising around town in full costume but Boston Red Sox infielder Michael Chavis did.
The rookie gave fans a tease during Game 7 of the World Series. While the Washington Nationals were celebrating their first championship, Chavis was getting excited about his attire for the following night. This was no ordinary costume. Chavis was was to become Batman.
The costume didn’t disappoint. Not only was Chavis quite convincing as the Dark Knight, but he also had the theme song from the old Adam West television show blaring as he drove around in his “Batmobile.
