Brayan Bello, Kristian Campbell, Garrett Crochet, and Ceddanne Rafaela are all young players the Red Sox have signed to contract extensions over the last year or so.
Boston has also engaged in talks with Triston Casas and, on a lesser scale, with Roman Anthony. This comes as the organization is focused on locking up its youthful core as the price tag for talent rises year after year.
Wilyer Abreu, another one of the club’s young stars, says he’s heard nothing from the team on that front.
“No, not yet,” Abreu told ESPN’s Enrique Rojas when asked if the Red Sox have offered him a contract extension.
