Rob Refsnyder is set to return to the Red Sox roster in 2025 after the team announced on Monday that it had exercised the veteran outfielder’s club option.
The 33-year-old will earn $2.1 million in 2025.
Refsnyder hit .283 with 11 home runs and an .830 OPS in 93 games for Boston in 2024. His season came to an end in September due to a right wrist injury.
He had been contemplating retirement earlier in 2024 to spend more time with family, but is now confirmed to be back for another season.
