What should happen to those caught yelling racist remarks at Fenway Park?
Red Sox outfielders Jackie Bradley Jr. and Chris Young want to see the perpetrators outed, so that their friends, family and coworkers know about their behavior.
Red Sox president Sam Kennedy and principal owner John Henry are considering taking that one step further and banning fans who are caught participating in racist behavior from ever returning to Fenway Park.
“We want to make sure that our fans know, and the market knows, that offensive language, racial taunts, slurs are unacceptable,” Kennedy said before the Red Sox’ game against the Orioles on Tuesday night.
