Remy, the former Red Sox second baseman, is entering his 30th season as their on-air color analyst. The network announced that Remy will continue to cover games this season and doesn’t expect him to miss any time away from work. After undergoing a recent procedure, he won’t be able to fly for four weeks, missing a portion of Spring Training.
Remy also announced his diagnosis on Twitter:

In an interview with SportsCenter 5, Remy told Mike Lynch that the cancer is under control and has not spread to any nodes.
