The Red Sox finish a four-game set with the Rays when the meet at 1:10 p.m. down in Florida behind Martín Pérez.
The Rays start Charlie Morton, who, as we have mentioned in these parts before, is pretty good. He’s still building up innings, and last time out threw five frames against the Nationals. Pérez also threw five inning innings last time out and has a similar ERA to Morton, ergo, he’s just as good. The rotation is saved!
Anyhow the Sox fell 5-4 last night but that’s a lot closer than 11-1, like Friday night, but as Friday night was Celtics time, it’s all good.
