Starting Friday’s game for Boston is going to be the left-handed Darwinzon Hernández, one of the top prospects in the organization. Although most project him to eventually end up in a major-league bullpen, the Red Sox are keeping the southpaw developed as a starter for now. He’s had a solid start to his spring, too, striking out six over four scoreless innings in two Grapefruit League appearances.
