Something I was looking forward to with the call up of Jarren Duran was the flexibility he would give the roster on defense. Part of the charm of having a guy like Enrique Hernández on your team is that he can play anywhere, but with the way the roster has shaped out he hasn’t been free to roam around the diamond. Having a guy like Duran that could bump him off center, which would have cascade effects that would lead to more rest for guys like Verdugo, Renfroe, Arroyo, and Dalbec. We got a preview of this last night with Arroyo bumping Dalbec off first, but Arroyo tried his best Ji-Man Choi impression last night and strained his left hamstring and will end up on the 10-day IL.
