Boston won its fourth game in a row on Saturday night with an extra-innings victory that shouldn’t have gone to extra innings. After looking rather dominant through six innings, mostly thanks to another great start from ace Garrett Crochet, the Sox bounced back from allowing a three-run home run in the top of the seventh with Triston Casas’ first walkoff of his career in the bottom of the tenth. Crochet cooked his former team once again while Rafael Devers drove in all three of the Red Sox’s runs in the first nine innings with a three-run shot of his own in the fifth.
