How about that pitching, eh? The Red Sox have dropped their opening series of this 2020 season against the Orioles, who project to be the worst team in baseball. It’s not what you want. Unsurprisingly, it was the pitching that did the Red Sox in early with Ryan Weber just not getting the job done. With his lack of stuff he needs his command to be pretty much perfect if he’s going to succeed, and that just wasn’t the case here. His control was off and he made a couple of mistakes, and that was enough for six runs without even making it out of the fourth.
