Every bullpen needs a lefty or two. The three-batter minimum killed the lefty-one-out-only-guy (LOOGY), but every team still needs a southpaw for high-leverage matchups. The Red Sox have Aroldis Chapman, but he’s effective against both sides of the plate, and while he may be called on to give a left-handed hitter a difficult matchup, he probably won’t be used only against lefties.
