Red Sox 1, Phillies 4: Dropping the Ball

Someone needs to do something about the state of this team. The lack of fan interest, due to the subpar on-field product, has turned Fenway into a road ballpark for the Red Sox. The majority of consumers willing to pay the premium for the “Fenway Experience” are road fans, traveling to watch their team play in Fenway Park.

Last season, I flew to Wrigley to watch the Sox. Earlier this year, I went to Seattle for a few games. I appreciate the devotion to one’s teams and the desire to see Fenway. What I can’t appreciate is the roar of the crowd when the Phillies score a run or win a challenge.
